Alappuzha is located on the edge of Vembanad lake, Arabian sea bounds it from western side. Its unique location makes Alappuzha one of very few places in Kerala which enjoy the enthralling beauty of Backwater as well as Sea beaches at one time. Network of narrow serpentine canals , freshwater lakes and rivers forms backwaters of Alappuzha. Beauty of these backwaters can be best enjoyed by houseboats while some small meandering canals can be best explored by rowing boats. Option is open to book these boats from few hours to overnight. While cruising along these stunning backwaters one can enjoy the scenery of beautiful paddy fields, fishing boats at jetty, banana plantation fields and countryside life.
In these months weather remains cool in morning and evening time and afternoon becomes pleasant. Cool breeze and pleasant temperature adds more enjoyment to sightseeing and excursion trips.
In this period coastal belt of Kerala receives abundance of rainfall so the lush green beauty of nature emerges. However sometimes your local sightseeing and excursions plans may hamper due to incessant rainfall.
In these months high temperatures (maximum of 35-37 degrees ) couples with high humidity levels so long sightseeing trips are not recommended.

Alappuzha Railway Station is the closest railhead, which is well connected with other major cities of India:New Delhi, Bengaluru , Chennai, Mumbai, etc
Alappuzha is well connected by road to other metro cities of India. There is good frequency of buses till Kochi from there cab can be booked to reach to your resort.
