Karwar
3 Days
Karwar is a district and a coastal city in the state of Karnataka. This place is perfect for those who are planning to spend a few nights at a tranquil beach. In India many good writers had taken their inspiration from pristine nature. Around 100 years back when Karwar was very little known among tourist, Rabindra Nath Tagore had spent a few months here. This place made a tremendous impact on him that he wrote he wrote his first first verse drama Prakritir Pratisodh (meaning the Revenge of Nature).
In these months high temperatures (maximum of 35-37 degrees ) couples with high humidity levels so in afternoon long sightseeing trips are not recommended.
Dabolim Airport is the closest Airport to Karwar (90 Kms). This airport is well connected to all major metro cities of India: Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai.
Karwar Railway Station is well connected with other major cities of India:New Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, etc
Kovalam is well connected by road to other metro cities of India. There is good frequency of buses till Thiruvananthapuram from there cab can be booked to reach to your resort.
