Best Time to Visit Athirappilly:

Winter  (October – February) – Best Time:

In this part of western ghat weather remains cool in morning and evening time and afternoon remains pleasant.Cool breeze and pleasant  temperature adds more enjoyment to sightseeing and excursion trips.

Monsoon  (June – September) – Very Good Time:

During these months high amounts of rainfall turn forest lush green and the waterfall becomes very beautiful. However sometimes your local sightseeing and excursions plans may hamper due to intermittent  rainfall.

Summer  (March – May) – Not So Good Time:

In these months high temperatures (maximum of 35-37 degrees ) couples with high humidity levels so  long sightseeing trips are not recommended.

BY AIR:

Cochin International Airport is the  closest Airport to Athirappilly (58 Kms).  This airport  is well connected to all major metro  cities of India: Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad,  Kolkata and Mumbai.

BY RAIL:

Thrissur railway station is the closest railhead, which is just  52  Kms away from Athirappilly. Second well connected railway station is Ernakulam Junction railway station (58 kms) which is   is well connected with other major cities of India:New Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, etc

BY ROAD:

Athirappilly  is well connected by road to other metro cities of India. There is good frequency of buses till Kochi  from there  cab can be booked to reach to your resort.
