Best Time to visit Poovar:

Winter (October – February) 

Best Time: In these months weather remains cool throughout the day, cool breeze and pleasant  temperature adds more enjoyment to sightseeing and excursion trips.

Monsoon  (June – September) – Good Time:

In this period  coastal belt of Kerala receives abundance of rainfall so the lush green beauty nature emerges.  However sometimes your local sightseeing and excursions plans may hamper due to rainfall.

Summer  (March – May) – Not So Good Time:

In these months high temperatures (maximum of 35-37 degrees ) couples with high humidity levels so  long sightseeing trips are not recommended.

BY AIR:

Trivandrum International Airport is the  closest Airport to Poovar (30 Kms).  This airport  is well connected to all major metro  cities of India: Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad,  Kolkata and Mumbai.

BY RAIL:

Thiruvananthapuram Railway Station is the closest railhead, which is just  27 Kms away from the Poovar. It is well connected with other major cities of India:New Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, etc

BY ROAD:

Poovar is well connected by road to other metro cities of India. There is good frequency of buses till Thiruvananthapuram from there  cab can be booked to reach to your resort.
