Pick up from Kochi international Airport and transfer to Munnar. Enroute enjoy the beautiful view of rolling hills and tea plantations. Arrival at the hotel followed by room check in. Remainder of day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at a resort.
After breakfast visit Echo Point, Mattupetty Dam. At Mattupetty dam guest have the option to go for a boat ride. Have lunch in the afternoon. Post lunch visit Photo point and Top station. From Photo point one can capture views of rolling hills and tea plantation slopes. Top station has three different viewpoints which offer a commanding view of lush green valley and mountains. Dinner and overnight resort.
After breakfast proceed for Thekaddy. On arrival check in at the resort. Post lunch guests have the option to take a boat ride at Pariyar Lake if you are lucky you may come across to sight of grazing Indian Gaur or herd of Elephants. Dinner and overnight at resort.
After breakfast proceed to Kumarakom. By afternoon reach at jetty to board the Houseboat. Lunch at Houseboat. Enjoy the houseboat cruise through backwaters of Kumarakom. Dinner and overnight at Houseboat.
After breakfast deboard the houseboat and board your cab. From here proceed for Kovalam. On arrival check in rooms. After lunch guests have the option to visit the Sea beach or relax in a resort only. Dinner and overnight at Kovalam.
After breakfast you may start your beach hopping. There are three famous beaches at Kovalam: Lighthouse beach, Hawah Beach and Samudra beach. All these three beaches are separated by rock formation. Out of these three beaches Light house beach is most frequented by visitors while Samudra beach always remains sparsely crowded. Hawah beach attracts fisherman activity and mostly fisherman boats are parked on hawa beach.
After breakfast check out the hotel from Kovalam and proceed to Thiruvananthapuram. If time permits you may first visit the estuary of Poovar then proceed for Thiruvananthapuram Airport.
This tour starts from Kochi Airport and ends at Thiruvananthapuram Airport. On request pick up can be facilitated from Kochi railway station or any hotel at kochi
Winter (October – March) – Best Time:
In these months weather remains cool in morning and evening time while afternoon remains pleasant. Cool breeze and pleasant temperature adds more enjoyment to sightseeing and excursion trips.
Summer (April – May) – Good Time:
One can experience good weather at Munnar while at Thekkady, Kumarakom and Kovalam high temperatures may (maximum of 35-37 degrees ) coupled with high humidity levels so morning and evening sightseeing plans are recommended over full day sightseeing tours.
Monsoon Time (June – September)–Not so Good Time:
In this period coastal belt of Kerala receives abundance of rainfall so the lush green beauty of nature emerges. However sometimes your local sightseeing and excursions plans may hamper due to Intermittent rainfall.
