Located in the Umaria district, near the city of Jabalpur of Madhya Pradesh, Bandhavgarh is the home of the tigers of the emerald forest. It is one of the most tiger dense forest and one of the most popular wildlife tourism sites in central India. Having 37 species of mammals, over 250 species of birds, 80 species of butterflies and many reptiles and amphibians, Bandhavgarh is one of the most bio diverse rich areas that has been attracting millions of tourist year round. It is also famous for rock paintings and natural and man-made heritage sites.
Perched on an altitude of 1500 meters, Shillong is the capital of Meghalaya. Meghalaya is one of the wettest places on earth. Its periphery is dotted with spectacular excursion options of Splendid Waterfalls, lakes, Mysterious Caves, and panoramic view points.

Lying in the continuity of the Tropical and subtropical dry broadleaf forests, Panna National Park is nested in the Panna and Chattarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. This deciduous forest landscape has many spectacular sites and is home to many mammals and over 200 species of birds. Along with the Ken Gharial Sanctuary and north and south forest division, the national park forms the Panna Tiger Reserve which once lost all its tigers in 2009, but now a strong hold of the magnificent feline with more than 50 individuals roaming in the protected area.

Fairly less popular than Kanha and Bandhavgarh, it is a unique central Indian highland ecosystem which consists of extremely rugged hills and sandstone peaks, narrow gorges, ravines and dense forests.
