Best Time to visit Pangot:

Pangot is settled at an elevation of almost 6,300 feet from sea level in the lap of Kumaon Himalayas. Winter months October to Feb are best to see upper Himalayan birds and lots of migratory birds. In the months of March-April when the flowers on Rhododendron trees start to bloom, the whole valley looks gorgeously pink with lush green surroundings. You might get to experience snowfall in Pangot if you visit in January. Temperatures in winter range from 0-24°C; in summer, from 10-30°C.

Delhi airport is around 320 kms from Pangot with frequent flights from all over the world.
