Varanasi, also known as Banaras, is one of the oldest living cities in the world and holds immense cultural and religious significance. Begin your morning with a peaceful boat ride on the sacred Ganges as the first rays of sunlight gild the ghats in soft gold. Along the riverbanks, life unfolds like a living canvas—pilgrims performing age-old rituals, chanting prayers, offering flowers and water to the rising sun, and immersing themselves in the holy river.
Return to your hotel for breakfast, then proceed to Sarnath, the revered site where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon on Dharma and Karma. Stroll through the tranquil Deer Park and absorb the serene atmosphere of this deeply significant place.
As evening falls, enjoy a guided walk through the ancient lanes of Varanasi’s old city. This sensory journey takes you past flower sellers, resonant temple bells, vibrant shrines, and the constant rhythm of daily life. Reach the ghats in time for the Ganga Aarti—a powerful spiritual ceremony of light and devotion.
